Biography
Richard has 19 years of experience in Architectural Design and Construction Management, with 16 years specializing in freezers. His vast experience includes a variety of projects that ranging from high end corporate offices to mixed use office & cold storage facilities regionally, nationally and internationally. Rich offers a strong knowledge in Automation and Rack supported buildings as well as cold
storage buildings, with project involvement encompassing all aspects of design development through construction management. Rich is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology and resides in Norfolk Massachusetts.
Professional Experience
Preferred Freezer Services
Project Manager and Designer overseeing construction and design of new facilities throughout the country and abroad totaling over 3.8 million square feet of cold storage along with Rack supported structures , full automation, and Low Oxygen environments. Responsible for over 159 Million Cubic Feet of cold storage facilities for PFS to date.

Seafrigo (Cold Storage & Process)
Project Manager and Designer overseeing construction of two cold storage facilities, and a processing facility totaling nearly 12.5 Million Cubic Feet, located in Elizabeth, NJ.

Maberry Packing (Processing)
West Coast based fruit processing facility. Located inside a Freezer building.

Richland, Washington (Automated)
Largest automated freezer in the North America, it is a rack supported 116’ tall freezer consisting of 3 separate freezer compartments. This is the first building of its size with an oxygen reduction system located in the United States, which eliminates the need for a sprinkler system. This building also has an Auto un-load trailer system, which allows for trailers to back up to the building and the system unloads and stores the pallets automatically. Fully Automated Facility

square feet of state of the art fluid load and unload Distribution.
